To celebrate the publication of founder Roger Shepherd’s new memoir In Love with These Times: My Life with Flying Nun Records, some key Flying Nun figures from over the years gather to talk, argue and play some hits. New David Mitchell song for My Bonie Bell

A few days ago, I met David Mitchell in London. David promised me another instrumental for the impending second Robert Burns comp, My Bonie Bell. Spaceship Caledonia, his noisy contribution to our first Burns comp, Ae Fond Kiss, has been described by my little daughter as sounding “as if the record player were broken”. In other words: it’s bloody awesome!
