A few days ago, I met David Mitchell in London. David promised me another instrumental for the impending second Robert Burns comp, My Bonie Bell. Spaceship Caledonia, his noisy contribution to our first Burns comp, Ae Fond Kiss, has been described by my little daughter as sounding “as if the record player were broken”. In other words: it’s bloody awesome!
