Who the dickens are the (kissing) Alpaca Brothers?
We have managed to upload the Alpaca Brothers‘ debut album, Figment, on Routenote and through them, on Spotify and all those other streaming platforms. Go and check if you don’t believe me. Alas, a little error has occurred. As it turns out, there are more Alpaca Brothers in heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy. In fact, there is a electronic music outfit by the same name hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Those guys even have a logo consisting of two cute alpacas seemingly about to kiss and surmounted by a wee heart. At least Spotify has conflated the two musical entities in such a way that the Dunedin Alpaca Brothers and their Buenos Aires counterparts are now one and the same. We have notified Routenote and am hoping that they will be able to fix the problem. Sorry for any inconvenience.
